The Aquatic Club of the West Shore was started in 1998 under the management of the West Shore Recreation Commission. In 2004 ACWS broke away from the Commission and the club became an independent non-profit amateur sports organization. Our club supports a roster of 50+ swimmers and divers and has its training facility at the West Shore Natatorium located at Red Land High School. Our team serves as the high school feeder program primarily to Red Land High School, Cedar Cliff High School, Trinity High School and other area high schools. We are proud to have helped countless local high school swimmers earn important college swim team admissions. We are extremely proud of our team's achievements as we are consistently placed in the top 10 of the Central Pennsylvania Area League (CPAL - Winter League) and Capital Area Swim League (CASL - summer league). ACWS is also a member of USA Swimming, the premier national competitive swimming organization.
Our current coaching staff offers a combined 50 years of competitive swimming and coaching experience.
