Jesus felt the pressure, power and enticement of sin when he was tempted in the wilderness. He understands everything we are feeling. We can go to him with this confidence and ask for his grace to help us in our time of need.

Filtered Thoughts Pastor’s Desk – February 19, 2017 Someone once told me that what we think will pretty much determine the quality and direction our lives will take. As a young believer, I kind of shook with that statement because I never thought my way of thinking had so much influence in the outcome of my life. I guess this is why the Bible tells us to watch our thoughts: Phil. 4:8: “Finally, brothers and sisters, keep your thoughts on whatever is right or deserves praise: things that are true, honorable, fair, pure, acceptable, or commendable” (GW). In order to have these kinds of thoughts we need to have a filtered mind by watching what we hear, what we watch, and what we spend most of our time pondering. The book of Psalms 101:3 tells us: “I will not put anything wicked in front of my eyes. I hate what unfaithful people do. I want no part of it.” This verse speaks volumes. With all the radical leftist nonsense going on today, let us be careful. Don’t let the evil one slowly deceive us into changing the standards of God’s way of life and desensitize our minds from what is holy, pure and of good report. I challenge each one of us to be more cautious about the things we watch and hear. We are temples of the Holy Spirit and must strive to be filled with God’s Words, God’s thoughts, and God’s promises. As we fill our thoughts with God’s stuff, victory will come alive every day in our lives and also in every area! Let’s strive to have filtered thoughts! In His Service, Pr. Paul Santos

Not just "some" of your worries, but ALL of them! He can handle it!

God never contradicts Himself. If a prophet says something inconsistent with the Bible, we know this is not a word from God and the "prophecy" is not truth. Beware, but do not fear.
