Fuel & Flame owner, Todd Hysko started his career in the solid fuel business in 2002. He worked with his father and uncle at Peoples Woods (Coal) learning the business from the ground up, first working in the yard, then driving trucks, and then moving indoors to sales and installation of stoves and grilling equipment. During this time he also worked with many of the finest restaurants in the Providence area selling and delivering Natures Own Canadian Hardwood Charcoal as well as Grilling Woods.
Fuel and Flame is an authorized dealer of Harman, Morso, Alaska, Pacific Energy, and Hampton Stoves and inserts. Besides offering a wide selection of wood pellet, wood and coal stoves, Fuel and Flame is also an authorized dealer of New England Wood Pellets, and offers pickup or Wood pellet delivery to the area. Fuel & Flame is the area's only supplier of Basque Canadian Hardwood Charcoal.
In 2002, Todd opened his own store in Smithfield, Rhode Island. After one year, he outgrew the space and moved to his current location on the Cumberland/Woonsocket Line.
