Innovations In Learning has its main location in Merrillville, IN, and a satellite office in Hobart, IN. Innovations prides itself in using empirically based interventions with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Programs offered include an Intensive ABA program for children starting as young as two years, Adult Day Services, Behavior therapy services under the Indiana Medicaid Waiver program, as well as outpatient therapy services. Outpatient services include individual and family therapy as well as social skills groups for children and adolescents, skill training groups for adults as well as more process oriented groups. Innovations specializes in the treatment of behavior disorders in individuals with and without intellectual disability and we focus on teaching functional replacement behaviors. At Innovations, we understand the importance of not only treating the identified client but also providing parent/caregiver training and support. When possible we offer home based services to increase the generalization of skills. We also have The Caring Piece which offers our families the support of our clinical staff trained in meeting the needs of family members of individuals with special needs.
