Congrats to our curator @AndyFarke on his new article "Hops for Triceratops?" published in Zymurgy magazine! Now th twitter.com/i/web/status/8…

At the Alf Museum, our scientists and educators are always looking for ways to reach new audiences. Here's a great example by our Augustyn Family Curator, Dr. Andy Farke! He recently published an article on the evolution of hops, an ingredient in beer, in Zymurgy magazine from the American Homebrewers Association. The article, titled "Hops for Triceratops?", came about from the mixing of his two worlds as a paleontologist and a homebrewer. Homebrewing has gained much popularity in the last few years and is treated very much like a science in many circles. Thanks to this article by Dr. Farke, many homebrewers can now learn a bit more about the evolutionary history behind their craft and maybe make connections to other sciences that they might not have made before. Congrats on the article Dr. Farke! https://www.homebrewersassociation.org/magazine/search-zymurgy-issues/
