The Weed Fire Department is located in Northern California just north of Mt. Shasta. It is staffed by a volunteer chief, a paid administrative captain, one paid seasonal firefighter. The rest of the department are volunteers and live-in student firefighters. The station houses two type one engines, a medium rescue, and a type three engine.
