Founded in 1968, as Custom Cam & Tool Co., we began as a design and manufacturing company of precision cams for the screw machine industry. As our reputation spread for accuracy, quality and improved cycle-times; our customers began to request more products and services. In 1995, we decided to change our name to Custom Tool & Gage Inc., to more accurately identify the core products and services that we provide.
Although we continue to manufacture, (you must see our Custom-Burr deburring machine), our primary focus is to provide tool and gage solutions for the manufacturing industry. We also create and manage special purchase arrangements for long term part runs. Our special purchase arrangements are designed to always make sure you have the tools and gages you need to keep your machines running with accuracy, quality and precision.
Our inside and outside sales engineers provide excellent resources to satisfy the most demanding of applications. The machines and methods will change, but our commitment to accuracy, quality and precision will not. We know how to get the job done right.
In 2013, we lost our Founder Carl T. Benda. He will be missed by all. Custom Tool & Gage is now run exclusively by the women of Carl’s family. As Sue and Michelle take the reins, their vision is simple: Be #1 in customer service by providing the most accurate information, quality up-to-date products and services that are delivered with the highest standards.
