Hinshaw partners Aimee Delaney, David Alfini and Adam Guetzow presented yesterday at the LeadingAge Illinois Annual Meeting & Expo, in Chicago. LeadingAge Illinois is one of the largest associations of providers serving older adults in Illinois. Aimee kicked off the seminar titled "Social Media Policies: Legal and Risk Management Pitfalls" focusing on employment related social media issues that long-term care and aging service providers may face. Adam and David rounded out the discussion on risk management issues posed by long-term care and aging service employee’s use of social media, particularly involving the dissemination of resident and patient information.
