Business Advocacy - The Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce works on behalf of local business as an advocate for issues affecting business, such as health care, worker’s compensation, regulations, tax and fiscal policy, and transportation. As the Chamber continues to increase its membership, it strengthens its voice, not only locally, but in Hartford and Washington, as well.

Economic Development - The Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to the economic development of mid-Fairfield County. The Chamber continually strives to promote the varied and quality resources of the area, as it seeks to enhance and expand all that the region offers. Through its efforts to maintain a healthy and prosperous business community, the Chamber benefits the community as a whole.

Community Development - One of the Chamber’s key purposes is to ensure an outstanding quality of life for the Greater Norwalk area. The Chamber supports and enhances the community and its image through programs such as the Norwalk Leadership Institute, School-To-Career Program, Small Business Development Academy, Pride In Norwalk Awards, and other valuable programs that build the community spirit of Norwalk and the surrounding area. It also encourages and facilitates the participation of its membership within area non-profit organizations and agencies of need.
