We are teaming up with our friends at Wagner Family of Wine to bring you a delectable 4-course wine dinner on Thursday, July 13th at Cafe Gabbiano! $110 per person, please call 941.349.1423 to reserve! Please Note: Credit Card required to book. Cancellations with less than 72 hour notice will be charged 50% of dinner fee. Heres the special menu complete with wine pairings: Course I Langoustine Salad – Grilled Langoustine served over an Arugula and tomato salad with a lemon pepper dressing. Wine Pairing - Conundrum White Made up of 5 grapes, this white wine gets the name conundrum due to the fact they do not tell you what the grapes are. Course II Beef Carpaccio– Finely sliced Allen Brothers steak served with porcini mushrooms, watercress salad a quall egg in a Dijon mustard sauce. Wine Pairing - Conundrum Red Similar to the Conundrum White, this wine is made up of 5 grapes and holds the name conundrum due to the fact they do not tell you what the grapes are. Course III Rabbit Ragu - Rabbit braised with celery carrot, onion, garlic thyme in a white wine sauce over fresh pasta. Or Monk Fish Livornese – Local monkfish pan seared with garlic, onion cherry tomatoes, capers, black olives in a white wine sauce. Wine Pairing – Emmolo Merlot A newer edition to the Wagner family wines, this juicy merlot is lush and supple on the palate, with expansive, dark berry flavors, a fresh earthiness and smooth, leathery tannins. Course IV Formaggi & Fichi – Roasted figs, warm Brie, honey and Parmigiano Reggiano. Wine Pairing – Caymus Cabernet
