Founded in 1930, Starmount Forest is a family-friendly private country club covering 155 acres in the Starmount section of Greensboro. Bordered by Holden Rd., Market St. and Friendly Ave., it is located just a couple miles west of Downtown Greensboro and just 5 minutes from the city's college and universities, as well as business developments and PTI Airport. The club features an 18-hole golf course that was once home to the PGA Tour and the US Women's Open, six clay tennis courts outdoors, four indoor hard courts, a two-story fitness center and a resort-style swimming pool with outdoor restaurant and poolside service.
A 33,000 square foot clubhouse is home to Bistro 59, the club's member dining room, as well as a series of meeting areas and the main ballroom.
