The Thoroughbred Club of America was established on March 12, 1932 by a group of 15 men who assembled in the LaFayette Hotel in Lexington, KY. Their purpose in creating The Thoroughbred Club was to promote, foster and encourage closer cooperation and better business relations in the Thoroughbred horse industry.
Throughout the years The Thoroughbred Club has grown in prestige, influence and membership. Since forming 80 years ago, the Club continues to uphold the values and purpose that make it one of a kind. TCA provides a venue for the interchange of ideas, methods, and information in relation to the breeding, racing and marketing of Thoroughbred horses as well as encouraging public interest.
