Malinda came to us from the shelter and had been separated from her son prior to moving into Advocates Transitional Housing. They are now reunited and Malinda works full-time as an inspector at an automobile warehouse. Next month she will begin training to obtain her CDL certification to become a truck or bus driver. She's saving to purchase a car through Second Chances Garage, and her goals are to become debt-free, save money to help her son with college, and eventually become a home owner.
