At 104, Helen has traveled the world collecting art and experiences. Many of the pieces of her own art collection were donated to the Birmingham Museum of Art under the care of her old friend, senior curator Dr. Donald Wood. Upon learning that Wood will be retiring this summer after three decades with the museum, Hudgens said she had to make one more trip to see her collection, and her friend. We were thrilled to help make this trip a reality!
