We currently have more than 400 titles in print: from the timeless philosophy of the Tao Tê Ching to the cosmic comedy of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy; from the searing history of Stalingrad to the whimsical delights of The Wind in the Willows.
Each year we publish dozens of new titles, each one unique in its own way. Typography, paper, printing, binding and illustrations all play a role in creating the perfect edition. What’s more, many of our editions are enhanced by introductions written by leading novelists, journalists, academics, scientists and artists.
All Folio books are exceptional, but with our growing range of limited editions, we achieve a level of craftsmanship and artistry second to none. The works we select to recreate as limited editions are landmarks in publishing and book creation - from The South Polar Times to Candide. Strictly limited, they are bound to order, numbered by hand and never repeated.
Throughout its history, The Folio Society has resolutely maintained the very highest editorial and production standards. These are standards we continue to uphold - ensuring that each and every Folio edition is a keepsake to treasure for generations to come.
