The EMRRC is a non-profit organization in the Western Chicago suburb of Elmhurst, Illinois. The club was founded April 15, 1969.

================================== Open House: With the exception of holidays, the Club has a public Open House every Friday evening from 7-10pm Central Time (USA) and every Sunday afternoon from 1-4pm Central.
Street parking is available, there is a small lot next to the club, and there is a parking ramp one block N. of the club
Admission is free, donations, of course, are always welcomed!

================================== Membership: Member dues are currently $70 per calendar quarter and there is no requirement for members to work on the layout. Members of all ages are welcomed, but minors need to have a parent or guardian actually "be" the member and attend with the younger people.
We currently are pleased to have over 150 club members!
================================== Youth Groups: If you have a youth group or a church organization and would like to spend an evening at our club we have a program "Operation Lifesaver" that teaches train safety.
================================== Layout details: The layout supports up to 5 concurrent DC train operators, and as many DCC operators as track and layout power can handle. With typical length trains, this is usually between 10 and 12 people between both systems.
The mainline on the layout is roughly scale miles in length, with numerous locations for switching and "yard work."
