On January 26th, Darren Durkee and Chris Owens from ARA's Capital Area Division attended the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) DC Post 21st Annual awards luncheon at the National Press Club in Washington DC. Darren accepted a plaque presented to ARA in recognition as a 25-year SAME sustaining member. The DC Post is the largest and most active SAME post in the nation and members include engineers from the Services, federal government, and industry.
