Founded in 1882, Hastings College is a four-year residential institution home to about 1,000 students.
We have more than 40 majors and pre-professional programs, and feature highly engaged faculty and staff who work together to intentionally mentor, counsel, inspire and support students as they explore their interests, pursue their education and graduate ready for their careers or graduate school.
A block-style semester structure means students take just one or two classes at a time. Faculty also only teach one or two classes at a time, meaning they teach and work with fewer than 50 students at a time. This highly personal, highly engaged style of learning drives student success.
Every Hastings College student receives financial aid from a robust scholarship program, and we also provide all students with an iPad and Apple Pencil, which allows students and professors to dive into classes in new ways, and all required textbooks, which saves families thousands of dollars over four years.
