Love Center Deliverance Ministry was birthed on December 1, 1989. The first service was commenced in a small chapel at Immanuel Baptist Church located in New Haven for nine months. In the first service only twenty people were in attendance. The Services started at 2:00 and ended at 4:00 , at that time, they did not own the building; therefore Pastor Frankie had to use what was available. Other church activities such as Bible Study were held at the home of Eldress Helen Little.
During that time, Pastor’s Frankie and Kim along with the business consultant, Mary Suitt, continued to search for a building. After numerous attempts, in 1990, 295 Treadwell Street, Building #A was found. At this point the membership had grown to fifty people. Unfortunately, after being in the building for one year, there was an electrical fire which destroyed the entire building, everything the Ministry owned was destroyed. Once again, we were out of a building for about six months until the manager found another vacancy within the complex.
The Ministry gained another step towards completeness when it became incorporated in October of 1993. God continued to bless the growth of the ministry both spiritually and naturally. Pastors Frankie and Kim became known as the "Dynamic Duo". They had developed a unique style of preaching that so reached the ears and hearts of people in the surrounding area. It was soon evident that the walls of 295 Treadwell could no longer encapsulate the growing number of souls added to the Kingdom!
Love Center was located at 295 Treadwell Street for seven years and is now located on 19 George Street, Hamden CT. God has anointed and ordained the Ministry for a time such as this. Love Center has come a long way and have grown from twenty members to over 500 members.
Together, Bishop-Elect Frankie and Dr. Kim Carmichael's Ministry has changed many lives spiritually, physically, and emotionally through the Word of God. Their desire is to reach all who will hear the Word of the Lord and see souls added continually to the Kingdom of God.
