2019 Routes will be THE SAME as past years (2007 thru 2018).

Participants MUST be 21 or older to participate in this event. Sorry, NO exceptions.

TIMING:
RFID tags will be attached to bibs (corresponding to specific participants) and handed out at packet pickup.

FIRST AID:
Basic First Aid Care will be available courtesy of Watertown Regional Medical Center.

SHOWERS & LOCKERS
Unfortunately, there are no shower facilities available at the brewery for participants to use after the race. There are also no lockers to hold items while participants are racing or eating their meals. Bartenders will NOT be able to place items behind the bar as they will not have room to accommodate these items.

RACE TIMES:
1/2 Barrel Run will begin at 11:30 am.
1/6 Barrel Run will begin at 12:30 pm.

If a runner misses their race start, it will be up to officials as to whether or not they will be able to participate. Please be on time for your race.

PACKET PICKUP:
Packet pickup will begin at 8:30 am on Saturday, November 2. Packet pick up will END at 11:25 am for BOTH race routes (half AND sixth marathons).

RULES OF THE ROAD:
All routes are planned on OPEN city or county roads. Please run in single file, except when passing another runner. You are required to follow any and all direction from members of the police department, sheriff's department or any other volunteers directing traffic and/or runners along either route.

No strollers, baby joggers and/or other wheeled equipment are permitted for use by participants. No dogs are allowed on either course route.

COURSE DIFFICULTY:
THERE ARE SOME HILLS. Please feel free to drive the routes prior to signing up. Their difficulty will be based upon your experience and comfort level in running.

WEATHER & ROAD/TRAIL CONDITIONS:
This event will go on (and has) in the rain, snow, sleet or please dress accordingly.

Also note that approximately one-third of the 1/2 Barrel Route will follow The Glacial Drumlin State Trail. The Glacial Drumlin State Trail is made of compressed gravel; built and maintained by the DNR on a decommissioned railroad as a state bike trail. As such, it is fairly level and flat and often used by runners for recreation and training. Please note that there are many shaded areas along this route that will be significantly cooler than other parts of the race.

CHARITY & PROCEEDS
Runners are asked to please bring at least TWO non-perishable food items to check-in/packet pickup on the day of the event. Food donations and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Lake Mills Food Pantry. The remaining proceeds will be divided amongst local charities.

AWARDS & PRIZES
The award ceremony will begin at approximately 3:00 pm. Awards will not be handed out until ALL participants have finished both courses as disqualifications may occur or there could be other factors that can ultimately change the outcome of age group winners.

Any times posted, prior to all participants finishing both courses, are UNOFFICIAL.

As of 2013, we no longer accept registrations of participants under the age of 21. You must be 21 or older to participate in either race.

Three awards will be given to runners, per route, for each of the following age groups for runners: 21 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65-70, 71+.

One cash prize will be awarded for the best run time for each route, male and female. (Winners of the overall best time prizes will NOT be eligible to also win their age group.)

Finishers' medals will be awarded to each participant that completes the 1/2 Barrel Route ( miles).
