Equity Co-Op Livestock Sales Assn

Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association aids producers in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin in the marketing, managing, and financing of their agricultural businesses. Equity and its members strive for the same goal: to collect at an equitable price for the livestock they produce. Since its establishment in 1922, this goal has prompted the growth of Equity to become Wisconsin's largest livestock marketing agency and the second largest livestock marketing agency in the nation.

Today, Equity's headquarters are located in Baraboo, WI with 12 Wisconsin operating auction markets stationed in Altoona, Barron, Bonduel, Johnson Creek, Lomira, Marion, Monroe, Reedsville, Richland Center, Sparta, Stratford, and Thorp. Equity also operates an auction market in Waukon, Iowa with collection points in Ettrick, WI and Menominee, MI as well as a hog and cattle marketing center in Arlington, WI. Simultaneously, Equity runs an Electronic Lamb Auction, a Risk Management Division, a Calf Division, a Field Service Division, and a Commodity Division. Our internet auction and calf and field services divisions offer additional strategies and personnel to assist producers in successful marketing of their livestock. Further, our commodity division services producers in contracting cattle and hogs at a profitable level.

At Equity, we are steadfast in helping today's youth become tomorrow's leaders. Each year, we award 12 college scholarships, one in each of the cooperative's districts and 2 technical college scholarships representing the entire cooperative. We also proudly sponsor the Wisconsin FFA Foundation and Wisconsin 4-H Foundation.
