From our family to yours; In 1969 Anthony Mandala saw a growing need for supplying Institutional grade products to schools, hospitals and nursing homes. From a humble beginning in Mr. Mandala’s basement, Alco's Mandala Brand Products have expanded to two locations, our home base currently resides in a 35,000 square ft facility in Downtown Akron with a second location on Park Street in Canton.
Alco Chemical is owned and operated by the children of Anthony Mandala, (John, Vince, Bob & Luanne), all of whom take an active roll in the everyday operation of the company.
Alco manufactures the Mandala Brand product line, a broad line of 76 various institutional cleaning products, dietary & laundry products, disinfectants, floor finishes and more. In addition to the products manufactured in house, we maintain an inventory of various other suppliers such as Proctor & Gamble, 3M, Spartan, Georgia Pacific paper, Prolink liners, Fresh Products, Continental, Andersen matting and more.
Alco's strong sales staff and supportive technical department covers multiple states, From our grass roots in Ohio to Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, West Virginia and Pennsylvania, Alco helps keep our region clean. We provide training and in-service seminars designed to teach proper techniques in cleaning and sanitizing any facility.
Alco is a distributer of commercial cleaning equipment as well. Brands which include Windsor, Tornado, NSS, Viper, Products and Hoover. We provide on site professional demonstrations and training provided by our knowledgeable staff. Our in house machine repair department can assist you with repair and re-order of parts needed to keep your machines in tip top shape.
We sell and lease commercial High Temp and Low Temp dishmachines including CMA, American Dish and Knight. Our experienced fleet of technicians allows us to provide 24 hour/7 day service on dishmachine repair.
Alco Mandala Brand Products’ main location is in downtown Akron at 45 N. Summit Street, with a second location in Canton at 1303 Park Ave. SW.
