Formed in 1992, the Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association is an Allied Golf Association licensed by the United States Golf Association to provide a variety of amateur golf services to its member clubs. The Metropolitan is comprised of golf clubs throughout the Metropolitan St. Louis area, Central and Southern Illinois region. Membership has presently grown to over 140 member clubs. MAGA also conducts annually 10 MAGA Championships; 7 USGA Qualifying rounds and the 7 event MAGA Amateur Series.
