There is a place in Georgia that is working miracles for children who are victims of severe sexual, physical and emotional abuse. A mission of the United Methodist Church, Murphy-Harpst Children’s Centers is a nonprofit residential treatment facility for Georgia’s most abused children. The center offers a continuum of therapeutic programs including specialized foster care, adolescent substance abuse treatment, family support and other community mental health services.
