New River Electrical Corporation's vision began well before the company was established in 1953. Sherrill W. Stockton, the firm's founder, a chief electrician in the Navy, envisioned opportunities for reputable outside contractors to serve major utilities. Mr. Stockton possessed the experience and moral character instrumental in developing the core direction of the company. From the first contract with Ohio Power Company to build a small distribution substation, New River Electrical has grown into a diversified and progressive company of over 850 employees and is registered to conduct business in 38 states, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
