Our Story: With decades of industry experience in the Silicon Valley, we found that recruiting and sourcing was growing more and more impersonal. It stopped being about people, and started becoming about dollars. Solutions were steadily becoming automated and not based on customer need and culture.
Then one day we asked ourselves, if we could do this our way, if we could recruit and source for solutions, what would we do?
The answer was simple. We wanted to make the business of recruiting, solutions and managed services personal again.
We would help associates find niche roles that would showcase their strengths and position them for success. We would source, recruit and fill orders personalizing them for clients by considering client need and individual company culture. We would put the human back in human resources.
At SlingShot Connections, we make it about people again. We believe when opportunity and talent meet, magic can happen, and our goal is to make magic every day.
Why a slingshot?
Our name SlingShot Connections is based on an old story about an unlikely competitor who took down a giant three times his size with only a slingshot, a few stones and a dream to change his life and the life of his community. It is the perfect symbol for what we believe. Our aim is to apply exceptional, targeted solutions to tackle significant obstacles.
