THE BIBLE The Bible is composed of the Old and New Testaments. It is divinely inspired by God revealing His action in the world and His purpose for all of His creation. GOD There is only one true and eternal God consisting of three co-equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the creator and sustainer of the universe. JESUS Jesus Christ is the personification of God the Son and the awaited Messiah (Christ) prophesied in the Old Testament, the eternal and pre-existent Word. HUMANKIND God created humankind uniquely and in His divine image to love God and love others. SALVATION God offers forgiveness of sin, and justification by His grace, through faith in Christ Jesus, apart from works. THE CHURCH People who have recognized and believe that God is just and merciful forgives sins to reconcile believers to Him and calls them to worship Him, love others, and create disciples. THE RETURN OF JESUS The Lord Jesus Christ is coming back for His people as He promised and our eternal destination is either in heaven with Him or in hell separated from Him.
