Bids will be received by Ballville Township Trustees at the Township House, 2220 Tiffin Road, Fremont, Ohio, 43420 will be received for the following Project:
STAHL ROAD STORM SEWER PROJECT
Ballville Township, Sandusky County, Ohio

Any proposed Equal for a Standard shall be submitted to the Township no later than ten (10) days prior to the bid opening. If no Addenda are issued in association with the Bidder’s request, the proposed Equal shall be considered rejected.
Sealed bids will be received for:
Material and labor to complete Stahl Road Storm Sewer, the Estimate is: $ 210,000.00
Until 6:00 PM on April 18, 2017, when they will be publicly opened and read in the Ballville Township House, 2220 Tiffin Road, Fremont, Ohio 43420.
Copies of the bidding documents, including contracts, specifications and plans, are on file at the Township House of Ballville Township. A set may be obtained by depositing $20.00, check only, with said office. All checks shall be made payable to: BALLVILLE TOWNSHIP for each set purchased.
In addition, sets may be reviewed for bidding purposes without charge by appointment at the following locations:

This project shall be exempt from the Ohio State Sales Tax.
An acceptable Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bond or a certified letter of credit in the amount of 100% of the Contract will be required of the successful Bidder. Prices quoted in Proposals shall be guaranteed for a period of thirty (30) days from opening. If no award is made on the Proposals at the end of the thirty (30) days, the Owner reserves the right to negotiate with the low bidders for another sixty (60) days.
A bid guaranty shall accompany each bid proposal, and may be of two forms as follows:
1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check in accordance with Chapter 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount of 100% of the total bid.
2. A Bid Guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount of 10% to the total bid.
All bids shall be sealed and plainly marked “Stahl Road Storm Sewer”
Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond or check, will be neither read nor considered.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid. The Owner reserves the right to accept the bid, which embraces such combination of alternate’s proposals as, may be in the best interest of the Owner.
Bidders shall submit with their bid the affidavit required under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Sandusky County, Ohio.
