One year course, 1 day a week. The courses of instruction at Blanchard Valley Academy of Massage Therapy are offered quarterly based on enrollment availability. Classes include Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofacial release, sports massage, pregnancy and infant massage, health and nutrition,shiatsu, reflexology, anatomy, physiology and business practices as well as hands-on-training. The instructors are professionally active, well trained and highly credentialed as well as patient, caring and supportive. Their classes prepare students for the state licensing exam. Each course is approximately 750 hours and takes one year to complete. Massage sessions are open to the public, and the instructors supervise all hands-on therapy performed by the students.
