EGHC was established in 1993 and began seeing patients in 1994. EGHC started with 4 employees and one site and now has more than 90 employees and [number of volunteers] volunteers working in a 9 county area with 9 locations. As a federally qualified health center EGHC is dedicated to providing quality healthcare that is patient centered while being mindful of costs. In 2013 EGHC's Swainsboro site was recognized by National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The Swainsboro site received the NCQA's highest level of recognition (NCQA Level 3) as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH). In 2015 EGHC submitted applications for [number of sites] more sites to be recognized. The remaining [number of sites] sites will submit applications in 2016.
