This is a wonderful event which is held at the Plymouth County Fairgrounds in Le Mars, Iowa at 500 4th Ave. We have many things going on, in the Century Hall we have a Festival of Trees with about 50 trees which local organizations decorate, we also have local entertainers in there each evening during the festival, we have local organizations that give out treats, like free popcorn balls and popcorn, hot chocolate, cookies which are donated by the local 4-H clubs and other places. We have visits with Santa over in the Sportsman's Club which is located in the Pioneer Village, Santa gives a bag of candy to all the kids he visits with, they also give out cookies and apple cider in there. In the Luxemborg we have free hot dogs and pop which we give out each night. The Toy Club gives free stuffed animals to all the children that stop in there. We have free rides with the horses and wagons, which take you around the grounds, some are lit up and makes for and enjoyable ride. The round barn is decorated on both floors with beautiful santas, snowmen and many animated decorations. It's a must see. It's a great event so try to work it into your busy Christmas schedule.
