The Mailbox Ballard opened in 1996 under the guidance of Ferrol Williams. What was once a vacant building on the corner has evolved into the cornerstone of the neighborhood, deeply loved by the residents of one of Seattle's iconic neighborhoods.
In 2016 we celebrate 20 years of service to our community. From our robust retail section featuring locally-made gifts and goods, to our fabled holiday hot cider, we’ve built a community of friends and neighbors that enriches our experience and, most days, feels like an extended family.
