Mary is available for adoption! Mary is a gorgeous 11-month-old cat with lovey-dovey eyes and a big heart. She came to us in distress, after giving birth to a stillborn litter at a very young age. This has stunted her physical growth; she has not grown while in our care, and is likely done growing for good. Mary has had some time to recover with us, and is doing so well! She loves having her back scratched, and her favorite activity is chasing feather toys. Mary needs a quiet home with LOTS of love and affection. She may get along with other calm cats. We do not know how she would be with dogs. If you want to be Mary's forever, our adoption application can be found here: https://animalsforlife.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/AFL-FELINE-ADOPTION-APP.pdf Feel free to send us a private message here on Facebook if you have any questions! **Animals for Life is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue located in Naugatuck, CT. All animals are spayed/neutered, current on shots, tested for feline AIDS and leukemia, and treated for worms, ticks, and fleas prior to adoption. Visit our website, animalsforlife.org, for more information.

Handsome Nico is available for adoption! Nico is just over a year old and so full of love. He needs a little time to warm up to new people, but as you can see, once he loves you he REALLY loves you! Nico is a shoulder cat- he loves nothing more than to climb up on your shoulder for snuggle time. Once up there, he also likes to be carried around like a baby. There isn't a mean bone in Nico's body. All he wants is a forever family who will love him up! Nico is selective about feline company, but we suspect he'd get along with another friendly cat or two. We don't know how he'd do with dogs, but would be willing to try. If you're interested in meeting Nico/bringing him into your home, our adoption application can be found here: https://animalsforlife.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/AFL-FELINE-ADOPTION-APP.pdf Feel free to send us a private message here on Facebook if you have any questions! **Animals for Life is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue located in Naugatuck, CT. Mikey is available for adoption! Mikey is 3 years old and FIV-positive. He does not get along with dogs or other cats, but he loves people! He has been in a foster home for several months now, and has done VERY well there. He wakes his foster parents up with snuggles every morning, and loves to cuddle up with them on the couch. Though he is loved in his foster home, he cannot stay there forever! We are hoping to find Mikey his forever home soon. If you're interested in meeting Mikey to see if he'd be a good fit for your home, please send us a private message here on Facebook! Our adoption application can be found here: https://animalsforlife.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/AFL-FELINE-ADOPTION-APP.pdf Please share to help us give Mikey his best possible chance at finding his forever family!

Animals for Life, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue/shelter located in Naugatuck, CT, is looking for volunteers to foster some of our cats and kittens! We always find ourselves packed during the summer, and we need help with the kitties who need the most love: young adult cats and kittens who are a little shy and need to be socialized in a home environment, and social cats who are stressed out here because they are uncomfortable with other animals! Animals for Life provides all essentials: wet & dry food, litter & pan, and any medical care necessary during their stay in your home. All you need to provide is the love! Fostering is one of the most helpful things you can do for an animal rescue organization! We rely on fosters to help us save lives. It is a wholly rewarding experience. If you live in the area and are interested in becoming a foster, please send us a private message here on Facebook, or fill out our fostering application, found here: http://animalsforlife.org/fostering-application/
