Friends of Mine Preschool is Asheville's longest running cooperative preschool. Combining the best aspects of many educational philosophies, including Waldorf and Montessori, we are a mixed age classroom enrolling students of years of age.
At Friends of Mine, we highly value group and individual contributions to the larger community. The school is formed by a group of parents with similar philosophies who organize to provide their children with a high quality preschool experience. We believe that a child’s first experience with school should be in an environment rich with parent involvement and guided by a qualified teacher. Our focus is child development and we work to provide a highly enriching experience for our students.
