There's lots of great fun at The Shepherd of the Hills! Based on the bestselling 1907 book by Harold Bell Wright, this is the actual location where the book was written. There's the famous outdoor drama, a reenactment of the book featuring 90 actors and actresses, 40 horses and a herd of sheep. This beautiful story is an action packed, time tested favorite! We also have the thrilling Vigilante Extreme ZipRider, Inspiration Tower, guided homestead tours and the Roundup on the Trail Chuckwagon Dinner Show. We host the Shepherd's Super Summer Cruise Car Show in August and in November and December the historic homestead is transformed into a holiday wonderland with the Trail of Lights and the Christmas on the Trail Chuckwagon Dinner Show.
