For over 10 years, Abayomi has provided services to over 8,000 youth and families in the metropolitan Detroit area. Our goals are to establish an awareness of the value of family, improve socioeconomic conditions and increase the level of dignity and personal achievement within the Detroit community.
Our mission is to strengthen and secure families and the local community through comprehensive community building. Together, the Board of Directors and staff of the Abayomi Community Development Corporation value FAMILIES: Fairness, Assistance, Morality, Improvement, Love, Involvement, Enrichment, and Security.
The Abayomi Community Development Corporation provides housing and economic development, counseling and education, and sports and physical fitness programs and resources to youth and families in the metropolitan Detroit area.
