Today's Black History Celebration at Bardstown High School was particularly special due to the return of our own Rosie Dodson. We are happy to continue the tradition of celebrating our diversity at Bardstown City Schools, which Ms. Dodson was instrumental in establishing. Many students and staff greeted Ms. Dodson at the conclusion of the program - all happy to see her and get a hug or hold her hand! She inspires us still today!

BCS celebration of Black History Month continued today with great student-led programs at Bardstown Middle School and High School. Filled with musical performances, skits, and videos, both celebrations were inspirational and educational. John Hardin, Ph.D., Professor of African American Studies at Western Kentucky University, was today's featured speaker. Thanks to all the staff and students for making today's celebrations so meaningful for our students and community!
