CMHE was originally a company solely dedicated to serving the victims of crime and abuse population. It employs 40 prelicensed therapists who work in various cities in the Los Angeles County. Therapy is provided free of charge for both the victims and their families. This year, the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health granted the company a pilot program devised by CMHE founder Terry Haviland. This program intertwines tutoring and counseling, thus connecting mental health with education. We hope to grow, and connect with other companies who share the same interests.
