Brookdale Senior Living shared Rory McIlroy's video.
Brookdale West Hartford resident, Noreen, had her Wish of a Lifetime come true at this year's Travelers Championship. A big thank you to Rory McIlroy for making Noreen feel so special. This day truly meant the world to her.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting this great lady, Noreen Murnane at the Travelers Championship. Noreen moved to the United States from Ireland in 1963 but sadly 6 years ago suffered a stroke. Given Noreen's passion for golf she contacted Wish of a Lifetime asking to meet with me. I was honoured to make her wish come true!

Irma Sherwood Moran, 84, has been passionate about history all her life. As soon as the Smithsonian Museum of African American History and Culture was created, Irma donated money as a charter member, hoping to see it flourish. Now, 13 years later, Wish of a Lifetime brought Irma to see the museum in person. An unforgettable experience.

Brookdale resident Ruth Heckinger was an Army Nurse in WWII who not only saved lives, but survived a plane crash herself! Today, we salute her.
In 1944, nursing degree fresh in hand, 21-year-old Ruth Heckinger volunteered for the U.S. Army Nurse Corps.

WWII didn't stop this 91-year-old woman from getting her high school diploma. Even if it did happen 72 years later!
You could call Betty Tawes’ missing high school diploma a casualty of World War II.
