The roots of SDC date back to 1936 when Stan Seroke, Grandfather of current owners Stan and David Poe, opened Standard Distributing, a wholesale beverage business in Waterloo, Iowa. Over the next 76 years Standard diversified by expanding relationships and providing services that help companies grow and prosper.
SDC operates dedicated and multi-client warehousing facilities to service agricultural, industrial and food-grade clientele. In addition to warehousing, SDC also provides multiple value added services.
