Karma Yacht Sales was originally founded by Lou Sandoval and Jack Buoscio in 2002. They named the business after their first Beneteau 'Karma'. Shortly thereafter they purchased Darfin Yachts, LTD. fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning their own business. Darfin yachts was 'the original' and first Beneteau dealer in North America. KYS served as the Beneteau dealer for the North Central and Lake Michigan area until making the decision to end their representation of the Beneteau brand in 2016. During their representation of the brand, they built two successful One-Design racing classes- the First and First fleets which are still the largest and most active fleets in the world. Having sold hundreds of cruising boats to discerning and loyal customers they built quite a following.
Today Karma Yacht Sales represents the most distinctive power and sailing yachts. KYS serves Lake Michigan, Lake Superior and the surrounding North Central Great Lakes Region in new boat sales.
KYS also provides brokerage services of all brands of power and sailing vessels as a member of the Yacht Brokers Association of America.
Over the past fifteen years, they have not missed a beat, as Karma Yacht Sales, LLC (KYS) has continued in its winning tradition. Winning numerous accolades- They were perennially ranked in the Top 10 dealerships in North America for Sales and Customer Service and where winners of the prestigious Beneteau President's Award numerous times.

KYS received many accolades in the marine industry for their attention to superior customer service. In 2011, KYS was named North American Dealer of the Year.
