The Wilmington Senior Center was founded in 1956 and is the oldest senior center in Delaware. Originally located on Jefferson Street, its home since 1964 has been North Market Street in the historic Brandywine Village. The senior center is a non-profit United Way agency governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
