Chuck Howarth, CPCU is Owner and President of The Howarth Group, Inc. The company is an Insurance Claim consulting firm, a Public Adjusting firm, headquartered out of the Nashville, Tennessee area handling claims throughout the Southeast. We assist businesses and individuals through the property claim process in order to help them obtain better settlements from their insurance companies.
Mr. Howarth has over 25 years of experience in the insurance claims adjusting business. He started out on the insurance company side of the business and advanced to a management position of training adjusters for State Farm Insurance Company. After several years there, learning the claims business from the inside, Mr. Howarth decided that he would be much happier using his knowledge to help policy-holders instead of the insurance company through the difficult process. He “jumped ship” and has been helping people directly with their claim problems ever since. Mr. Howarth is a licensed Public Adjuster in multiple states and has acted as Appraiser in the insurance appraisal process many hundreds of times. He is also a Rule-31 Supreme Court approved Mediator in Tennessee.
Mr. Howarth has both an IIA and a CPCU Degree from the Insurance Institute of America. He has been a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter since the mid 1980’s. He is a recognized expert in insurance claims and has testified as a qualified expert in numerous courts involving property damage claims in multiple states, including Federal Courts in multiple states in the Southeast.
Mr. Howarth has served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters. He is a past President of both the Tennessee Association of Public Insurance Adjusters as well as the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters.
Mr. Howarth is originally from Florida and his wife of 30 years, Ann, is from North Carolina. They have three children which range in age from 18 to 26. They are both active members of The People’s Church in Franklin where he serves on both the Leadership and Personnel Committees. He and his wife Ann also are directors of The Royal Family Kid’s Camp in middle Tennessee, a weeklong summer camp designed specifically for abused and neglected kids between the ages of 7 and 11.
He moved the headquarters of The Howarth Group to the Nashville area in 1998 to better serve the entire Southeast United States.
