Fort Greene Council (FGC) provides vital services to the most vulnerable in our community: the elderly; the home bound; and children. FGC operates 12 senior citizens centers providing meals, activities and assistance, six days per week; feeds over 600 home bound elderly individuals each day through its home delivered meals program; operates a child day care center and out of school educational programs; certifies and monitors over 100 licensed home child day care facilities, and conducts a Jazz music program at its headquarters at 966 Fulton Street.
