Partners for Healing was organized in November 2001 to provide free primary healthcare to a population of low income, working uninsured. Started by area community leaders, the clinic was initiated to improve access to healthcare. The patient population has grown to over 1470 individuals of record. Clinic services include acute and chronic care visits, medication assistance, diagnostic testing, mental health counseling, specialty referral, and diabetic and hypertensive disease management. There is no charge to the patient for services inside the clinic. In 2013 we had - 2799 Clinic contacts - 1784 Practitioner visits - 367 Unduplicated Patient visits - 366 Disease management contacts In 2019 the board passed to expand services to include individuals who receive disability whose benefits have not started and those who are in transition looking for employment.
