The Rapides Foundation seeks to improve the health status of Central Louisiana. To achieve this mission we develop initiatives and provide grants to organizations that share our goal. We want to positively impact Central Louisiana by deploying resources to improve key factors of health status, such as healthcare access, education and income.
We have three areas of focus in which we work – Healthy People, Education and Healthy Communities. We do this work in nine parishes located in Central Louisiana - Allen, Avoyelles, Catahoula, Grant, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Rapides, Vernon and Winn.
