Family business, founded as Business Machines of Shawnee Inc. in 1966 by Raymond L. Holland. When dad started the business it consisted primarily of sales and service of typewriters, adding machines, dictation equipment and electronic calculators. Dad soon added "spirit duplicators" to the product line and brought plain paper copiers in when they became available.
