Camp Wyldewood began as a small summer camp in 1948, welcoming few to the original 80 acres of land. Since then, Wyldewood has grown to over 300 acres and has hosted an estimated 90,000 young people in our summer programs. In the early 1970's a retreat program was added, as well as day camp in the 80's and in more recent times, an afterschool program. Our foundation is built upon the blood of Jesus Christ as we invite all people to enjoy our services. Our current goal is to continue as good stewards for the work that others have done before us, but to also continue Wyldewood's tradition of offering new services and adapting to the needs of all people.
