Established in 1982, Good Shepherd Center (GSC) has provided high quality early childhood education for children in the Iowa City/Coralville area for over 30 years. Originally established in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church on Melrose Avenue, we've moved into our own facility on Greenwood Avenue, next to Roosevelt Elementary.
GSC serves approximately 60 families in our core programs, as well as providing after school care and summer programs. We care for and educate children ages 6 weeks to 9 years of age.
As a daycare licensed by the Iowa Department of Human Services, we also offer deferred tuition for children in need of special placements. All families are welcome regardless of race, national origin, color, creed, religion, sex, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or associational preference.
