IN THE SPOTLIGHT River Valley Primary Care Services has hired Pixie King as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. King was coordinator and instructor of an outpatient diabetes education program in a hospital setting. She has a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and completed her dietetic internship at Vanderbilt University. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Western Arkansas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the American Association of Educators. AND Wednesday is Registered Dietitians Day!
